Soyeon Kim was born and raised in Oregon and studied at Oregon State University. She previously worked with low-income folks in South Orange County doing community health advocacy. Since graduating college, Soyeon mainly worked in the healthcare field but she is excited to try something new after seeing how systems discriminate and profit off of poor people's health and lack of resources. She enjoys spending time with loved ones, hiking, weightlifting, and being over emotionally invested in the Great British Baking Show.
