Dia graduated from the University of Iowa with majors in Political Science, Economics, and Ethics & Public Policy. During her time at Iowa, Dia focused on community involvement and advocacy work. She interned at the Center for Worker Justice of Eastern Iowa, working to combat wage theft and address other labor concerns. As an aspiring public defender, she is devoted to public service and is passionate about making our criminal legal system more just. In her free time, Dia likes to watch movies, cook, and rock climb.
