Guadalupe is a native Houstonian and a first generation Mexican-American. She graduated from the University of North Texas in 2017 with her degree in political science. Over the last two years, Guadalupe gained experience as a law clerk, including working on immigration matters and in legal translation. She also started and led a weekend program for her law firm’s clients to help them prepare for citizenship exams. While in college, Guadalupe was a student assistant at UNT’s Office of Research Integrity, working with complex research protocols, and served as a volunteer tutor. She is fluent in Spanish.
