Latoya graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA with her Bachelors of Arts in Criminal Justice. During her educational journey she has helped tutor adult learners, worked with high school students in learning environmental justice, provided aid to the homeless, food insecure, and poverty stricken communities in Philadelphia, and took a course alongside persons incarcerated within the Pennsylvania prison system. Latoya's drive stems from her upbringing in The Bronx, NYC, along with being a first-generation American and college graduate. In her free time, she enjoys binge watching crime dramas and listening to music.
