Annie Chen graduated from Rice University after interning with the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia where she conducted witness interviews and coordinated communications with detained clients. She also completed other internships that focused on the intersections between the criminal justice system and other aspects of society, such as housing and employment. In her free time, Annie loves reading fiction, learning song lyrics, and consuming a variety of nature documentaries.
