Sophia graduated from Stanford, where she conducted research on the intersection between immigration enforcement and trust in the police. She has also worked as a fieldworker for the American Voices Project, a volunteer at an immigration detention center, and a legal assistant for a private defense attorney. Some of the things that make Sophia happy are: sunshine, good books, cooking with friends, and going out dancing.
