Roxanne Barnes is a Los Angeles native and graduated from Brown University, where she studied Public Policy. Since graduating, she has worked for a criminal justice political organization focused on electing progressive prosecutors and served as a teacher’s assistant for middle schoolers. Roxanne has also been part of an ongoing campaign to end the use of solitary confinement in Rhode Island. While in college, Roxanne interned at Center for Justice RI, the Council on American Islamic Relations NY, and the International Rescue Committee.
