Orlando Vargas graduated from the University of San Francisco and was born and raised in Houston. As a first-generation American, his work and education focused on the needs of immigrants and individuals impacted by the criminal justice system through his time with several internships and part-time opportunities in the San Francisco Bay Area. His inspiration to become an Advocate comes from continuing this work in his own community and strengthening the skills necessary to be a strong legal advocate for marginalized individuals. In his free time, he enjoys exploring new cities, parks, coffee shops, and restaurants with his friends and family.
