Matthew Schwabel attended Lewis & Clark College where he majored in International Affairs with a minor in Middle East and North African Studies. While at Lewis & Clark, he volunteered with Operation Nightwatch to provide resources to unhoused community members, going on to work in transitional housing after graduation. Matthew was born in Oregon but grew up in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates and considers it his second home. In his free time he enjoys boxing and crocheting.
