While in college, Maren interned at several criminal justice organizations including the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia working on post-conviction resentencing cases, the California Reentry Institute researching youth detention facilities, and Uncommon Law conducting reentry follow-up interviews with recently released clients. Originally from California, Maren loves biking, the great outdoors, and finding random free events to attend on Eventbrite.
