Levi LaChappelle is PFJ’s Director of New Site Development and also serves as Program Director for Los Angeles County. He is thrilled to support the inspiring work of PFJ Advocates and the public defense community generally.
Prior to joining PFJ, Levi was a Staff Attorney at Neighborhood Legal Services of Los Angeles County, where he served low-income tenants fighting for basic rights and defending eviction cases. Levi received his J.D. from Georgetown Law. As a law student, he worked with the Orange County Public Defender, D.C.’s Public Defender Service, and the NAACP Legal Defense Fund. He also co-taught a legal writing course at a Maryland prison and represented clients in parole revocation and misdemeanor cases.
