Jin hails from the Bay Area and is a graduate of Vanderbilt University with a degree in Public Policy Studies. Prior to joining Partners for Justice, he conducted policy research in support of community-driven gun violence reduction programs and interned with the District Attorney of San Francisco. His most formative experiences, however, came through his membership in Vanderbilt Prison Project where he worked with students and community members to spark conversations on criminal justice reform and to campaign for the release of two people incarcerated in Nashville. In his free time, Jin loves going to the mountains and the beach and enjoys cooking and watching Netflix.
