Jasmine Elhawary

Despite being kicked out of high school as a sophomore, Jasmine Elhawary successfully transferred to UCLA where she is a proud graduate of the class of 2021. Jasmine's first-hand experience with the devastating effects of the carceral system is why she has devoted her life to helping system-impacted and incarcerated folks. Jasmine is passionate about healing both her community and herself, including mentoring teenage girls who she calls her "little mommas." In her free time, she enjoys making memories with her family, exploring new places, cooking delicious meals, and making people laugh.
