Hana Belmonte-Ryu

Hana graduated from University of California, Santa Barbara with a BA in Black Studies and a BS in Psychology & Brain Studies. While attending UCSB, she authored an Honors Thesis focused on Black women's experiences with housing inequities in Los Angeles. Additionally, she worked in multiple research laboratories, assisting with research on developmental, social, and cultural psychology. She volunteered with various organizations, supporting incarcerated individuals in California and serving as a legal services advisor for nearby community members. In her free time, Hana enjoys cooking Korean food, exploring the outdoors, and renting out library books.
