Emily graduated from the University of Florida, where she majored in Political Science and Education Sciences with a concentration in Schools, Society, and Policy. After interning at various nonprofits focused on community based equity, she completed a minor in Nonprofit Organizational Leadership. Emily is very passionate about education equity and has worked as part of the Children’s Defense Fund and Children Beyond Our Borders to promote accessibility to comprehensive and culturally responsive education. In her free time, Emily loves spending time with family, reading, and learning about theme park history.
