Elia Morelos graduated from Cornell University with a degree in American Studies and English. While in college, she advocated for marginalized and low-income students at Cornell, and fostered connections between diverse communities. She finds inspiration in the transformative ability of language to facilitate healing within communities. As a native of Los Angeles, she is excited to actively engage with her community and work towards eradicating injustice. In her free time, Elia likes staying active, discovering new music genres, and restarting her Duolingo streak.
