Daniel is a first-generation Chicano graduating from the University of California, Berkeley this year. As a youth, he worked with a grassroots organization that advocated for the expansion of public housing and homeless rights in his hometown of Los Angeles. At Berkeley, he co-facilitated a class about mass incarceration, as well as interning and organizing for immigrant rights with Causa Justa. During his free time, Daniel loves traveling without a plan and reading books about Latin America.
