Cíara is a first-generation college graduate from Brown University with degrees in Environmental Studies and Latin American and Caribbean Studies. During her time in Providence, she worked with several food justice organizations to bring affordable, nutritious, and culturally appropriate food to the community. Most recently, she taught Urban Agriculture to elementary and middle school-aged students in South Central LA.
