Christina Higashi Howard graduated from the University of Chicago with a double major in Public Policy and Sociology and a minor in Human Rights. During college, Christina interned at UnCommon Law where she supported incarcerated individuals navigating California’s discretionary parole process. She also facilitated weekly creative writing workshops at Cook County Jail, which is part of what drove her to become an Advocate. In her free time, Christina loves to bake, read, and spend time outside.
