Alexis is a veteran of the US Army and has served her community over the last ten years through her time volunteering and working with various non-profit agencies and community based organizations. She is passionate about elevating and empowering the marginalized voices of her community and diligently works to connect them to social and educational resources that will benefit them most. Alexis enjoys immersing herself within other cultures and connecting with individuals of various backgrounds. She is currently a student with Arizona State University pursuing a BA in Communications.
