Abby Steckel graduated from Yale in 2022 with a degree in statistics and data science. As an undergraduate, she worked with a community bail fund, several immigration legal aid providers, and Stop Solitary CT, a campaign to end solitary confinement in Connecticut prisons and jails. She grew up in Berkeley and is excited to be back in the Bay at the Alameda County Public Defender’s Office.
