The PFJ hiring process has two steps: an application, followed by an interview.

To submit an application, please email with a resume, your most recent transcript, and answers to the question prompts below (max 250 words each).

  • Explain your interest in becoming an Advocate with PFJ
  • Tell us about the impact you've made that you are most proud of
  • Tell us about a time when you had to overcome an obstacle

All applications for PFJ's 2018 Advocate class are due by Monday, March 5, 2018.

Invitations to interview will be extended by Friday, March 9, 2018. All applicants will be informed of whether they will be invited for an interview. In-person interviews will be conducted in the Bay Area during the week of March 12 and in the New York area during the week of March 19. If you are located elsewhere, interviews will be conducted by video between March 12 and March 23. We anticipate extending most offers by the end of March.

If you are a student at University of California – Berkeley, San Francisco State University, University of Delaware or Delaware State, applications can also be submitted in conjunction with career events on your campus during the weeks of March 12 and 19.
