Mike is a Jefferson County native who attended Missouri State University, where he majored in Psychology. After experiencing and overcoming his own personal challenges, Mike earned a Peer Specialist Certification and decided to focus his skills and personal insight in the area of social services. For the past four years, he has worked in the areas of drug and alcohol rehabilitation as well as housing assistance for the homeless. His past education and personal experience provide him with unique insight and empathy for individuals struggling with these all-too-common challenges.
Mike is married and the father of two young boys, and in his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing, and coaching lacrosse, and debating the merits of ‘90’s wrestling.
