Jon Offredo is PFJ’s Communications Director. Jon works with PFJ’s national team, advocates, and local partners to uplift and amplify the amazing impact of collaborative defense. Prior to PFJ, Jon served as the Legislative and Communications Director for the Delaware Office of Defense Services. At ODS, Jon led and assisted legislative campaigns to reform Delaware’s juvenile justice system, increase access to second chances, and pierce the veil of police secrecy.
Before ODS, Jon was a reporter, covering everything from politics, crime, and public safety, to dog shows, truck driving competitions, and whale research trips. Jon believes that we are not defined by the worst thing we’ve ever done and that everyone deserves equal justice and equal grace. Jon received his MA from Newcastle University in the United Kingdom and his BA from West Virginia University. Outside of work, you can find Jon out on a run, in his garden, or pondering the tortuous existence of being a Philadelphia sports fan.
